【IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ENTERING JAPAN 】
Currently, we are experiencing a high volume of requests for a visa. Please make a reservation at least one month in advance to apply for a visa.

All the visits are by appointment only. Please call us to make an appointment. (031-300-2222)

Please do not staple the documents

Applicants have to come to the embassy in person to apply for a visa with following documents:

1. A valid Passport

2. Visa Application Form 　【Example】　

※(2 x Visa Application Forms: Russia, CIS countries or Georgia nationals)

3. Passport-sized photograph　45mm ×35mm (taken within the last 6 months)

※(2 x Photographs: Russia, CIS countries or Georgia nationals)

4. Flight Information

Confirmation slip, certificate, or other documents to prove your reservation or a schedule of planned flight (/cruise) with entry(/departure） date into (/from) Japan

5. Proof of financial resources One of the following documents:

● Bank statements of the last 3 months

● Salary statements of the last 3 months

6. Schedule of stay 　【Example】

Your plan of the trip. Please write a name of your hotel in “Accommodation” column and contact information of the hotel in “Contact” column.

7. Residence permit (Aufenthaltsbewilligung)

Your residence permit should be valid until you come back in Switzerland from Japan

If your family member is sponsoring a cost of the trip on-behalf of you:

9．Proof of relationship (e.g. marriage certificate, or birth certificate)

Note:

- According to individual cases, other documents may be required after applying for a visa.

- The visa process time is 7 working days.

- The visa fee varies according to the nationality.
